Algorithmic Bioload Calculation

Unlike simple linear calculators, our stocking engine assesses compatibility across multiple parameters:

  • Excreta Rate Multipliers: Different species produce varying levels of metabolic waste. Our database assigns specific waste indices based on anatomical shape, dietary profile, and digestive efficiency.
  • Swimming Layer Distribution: Aquariums are vertical layers. By categorizing species into top, middle, and bottom dwellers, we analyze structural crowding to minimize stress.
  • Hydro-chemical Intersection: We calculate overlap ranges for temperature and pH to prevent placing acidic, cold-water species with alkaline, tropical tank mates.
